Amit Jamuar is a 3x startup founder with successful exits. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and brings a deep expertise in entrepreneurship and finance.He has been investing in real estate both personally and professionally for over 10 years. He has invested in STR and LTR properties in the U.S. and India. Amit also has experience negotiating PSA, LOI, and lease contracts in the commercial real estate sector and has closed over $20M in deals.
William Pettersson brings 10+ years of experience in real estate investments. William has invested in both STR and LTR properties across the globe. His 10+ years of international sales for startups and SMBs has helped him raise over $12M in capital for his various ventures.His portfolio spans across Indonesia, France, Sweden, and the US, which is a part of his international investment strategy. By diversifying his investments across multiple countries, William has benefitted from various economic conditions, market trends, and regulatory environments.
Our Story
Amit and William met when co-investing on a project in Austin, TX. They joined forces to take their unique background as startup experts and real estate investors to form Modekta Capital. Very grounded with their roots, they chose a name that represents their heritage. Mod is the Swedish word for courage, and ekta is the Hindi word for unity.
